Both Danish and Swedish kings have visited the building since it used to be the residence of the governor of Malmö. You can enjoy lunch or dinner down in the Medieval vaults of restaurant Corfitz Källare. The Ramada Mayfair Hotel is situated right in the city centre of Malmo, only a couple of minutes walk away from the railway station. (Formerly known as the Mayfair Tunneln Hotel) The hotel also has an outdoor terrace, fitness room and a solarium In our cosy lounge there is always coffee/tea and fruit available free of charge. In the lobby You can use the computer with internet access, just contact the reception. Nightclub, The Tunnel is open every Saturday. It will still be possible to rent the nightclub for private parties other days of the week |

All of the 70 bedrooms are individually decorated in a classical English style on one floor and in a lighter Swedish style on the other. All the rooms have bath or shower en suite, radio/cable TV, luggage bench and hairdryer. The heating in the rooms is adjustable. A few of the rooms also have a balcony. In some rooms You will also find a trouser press or iron, but we also have an ironing room which we are happy to let You use. Internet connection is available in all rooms if You have Your own laptop with a modem. There is a choice of smoking and non-smoking rooms, 10 of our rooms are smoking rooms. In our Superior Double rooms there are kettles for making tea/coffee. We do not have rooms adjusted for disabled guests. Although the hotel is situated in the city centre there are no roads with heavy traffic nearby which reduces noise to a minimum.

Below the hotel you will find Malmös oldest medieval vaults which date back to 1319. The vaults are now used as the breakfast room. A lovely breakfast buffet is served in the vaulted cellar. Weekdays breakfast is served from 06:30am until 10am, and on weekends between 07:30 am to 11am Our conference room is called The Napoleon Hall, named after the style of the era it has been decorated in. In this room we can arrange conferences for up to 70 participants (cinema seating). Adjoining the Napoleon hall is a lounge which can be used during breaks or as a group room. It can also be used as a reception room at dinner parties or by the guests of the hotel who simply want to relax with a cup of coffee For Business Facilities, The Napoleon Hall is also suitable for dinner parties, in which we are able to cater for up to 100 people. The Hotel also have a newly redecorated smaller conference room for conferences with fewer participants.

| The Mayfair Hotel is situated right in the city centre of Malmö, only a couple of minutes walk away from the railway station. The local and domestic trains depart from the railway station, but also the trains to Copenhagen city centre and Copenhagen airport, and the buses to Malmö airport. You will also find the Tourist information centre and an exchange bureau here.
Just around the corner from the hotel is Stortorget, the square from which the main pedestrian street in Malmö starts. You will find shops, cafés, restaurants, pubs and all sorts of entertainment within walking distance. |
